Dear Tony,

Thank you so much for coming over and  being the Toastmaster and MC at my 80th birthday

dinner, you  made everything run so well and smoothly even to arranging for the bar and the

band to be extended for us. So many of the guests commented how your presence really set

things off and added that special something to the whole occasion, even Phil King ‘the great

party giver’ was full of praise. The whole occasion was a great success and in no small part

because of your efforts and once again a very great thanks to you.

Dear Tony,

Following my very successful Reception at West Dean on Thursday evening I would like to thank you for all your work on our behalf. I believe it to have been the most successful cocktail party during my period as Chairman of the Council and it seems to have been enjoyed by all who attended.

The decision to announce our guests from the bottom of the stairs worked very well and thus avoided any possibility of accidents amongst those waiting on the staircase. I would like to thank you particularly for assisting some of out less able guests on the staircase which does prove a problem to some because of the lack of the handrail.

Eddi and I thank you, again, and hope that we may be able to call upon your services again next year.

Dear Tony,

I am writing to thank you for your efforts as Toastmaster at our dinner and dance last Saturday. The evening went extremely well and felt very under control and orderly. This is no small way thanks to your professional attitude in liaising between the hotel staff and my committee. A very successful event all round.
